]]> Your help is needed to support the University of Chichester’s research into enterprise and business start-ups. The project is funded by Coast to Capital Local Enterprise Partnership which is committed to the promotion and stimulation of enterprise within the region. One of the aims of the research is to establish what can be done to assist business start –ups in Brighton and Hove’s black and minority ethnic community.

The study will identify the factors which hinder or support business start-up in the Brighton and Hove area. The outcome will be a map of business in the whole region, a profile of the type and size of those businesses, and an understanding of ways in which you and other business owners might be encouraged and supported.

The University wants to hear from you whether you run a business from home, shop, office, or industrial premises. You may be a sole owner or other partners/directors may be involved. They are especially interested if you are a recent start-up or have been trading for less than 4 years.

For further details please contact BMECP.  These will include exercise and nutrition classes.    If you are interested in participating in the next programme please attend the well being event on Tuesday 31st January 2012  at 10.00am to 2.00pm at the BMECP or contact BMECP  on 0300 303 1171.  The event and shape up session will take place at the BMECP Centre at 10a Fleet Street, Brighton, BN1 4ZE.  The centre is accessible for disabled people.
