BMECP has for the past two years held an event as part of the International Women’s Day celebrations. The events have been very popular with the women bringing together diverse BME women to celebrate their achievements, share food, and entertainment. The events are held during March. If you are interested in participating in future events please contact the office for further information.
BMECP has also set up a Women’s Group. This helps reach isolated BME women who come together to share experiences and culture and also enables them to participate in decision making processes and learn about services within the City.
