Celebrating progress, participation and community impact
In 2025, BMECP strengthened its role as a trusted community hub, supporting food security, wellbeing, skills development, community engagement and BME-led infrastructure across Brighton, Hove and Sussex.
Households supported weekly
The Friday food bank supports an average of 48 households, including 72 adults and 80 children.
Infrastructure participants
Over 160 participants engaged through the BME Infrastructure Project, strengthening capacity and collaboration.
People supported monthly
Health and wellbeing initiatives support over 100 people monthly through regular community activities.
CV and interview support
More than 80 people were supported with CV and interview guidance, opening doors to opportunity.
Monthly centre attendees
BMECP welcomes approximately 612 attendees each month through an average of 25 hosted events.
