We are delighted to announce that The National Lottery has awarded us a grant to help sustain our BME Food Bank, which provides culturally appropriate food to those in need.

Over the past month, we have seen a significant rise in beneficiaries, particularly during school holidays when families struggle to make ends meet. A recent report by The Trussell Trust revealed that nearly one in five people receiving benefits, including disability benefits, rely on food banks. This trend is reflected in the growing number of elderly individuals with disabilities seeking our support.

Thanks to this generous grant, we can continue to fund our food bank staff and essential resources to keep this vital service running. However, the demand continues to rise, and we encourage well-wishers to donate and support this much-needed community service.
